General/ Introductory paragraph The Constitution mandates CHAL to facilitate the participation of the Christian Churches in ensuring that the right of all members of the community to the highest quality health services is upheld. In pursuance of the Constitutional mandate, CHAL’s mandatory scope of work has, in general, evolved with ongoing national health developments.
Vision: To significantly improve the Christian health services by total commitment to quality health care provision, with emphasis on the peri-urban and rural areas.
Mission Statement: CHAL’s Mission is to facilitate the participation of the Christian Church in ensuring that the right of all members of the community to the highest quality health services is upheld. In pursuit of this Mission, the Churches in a non-profit making manner, are committed to see to it that quality health services reach those who have least access (families and communities), through appropriate technologies, in the spirit of mutual trust and cooperation as a tangible expression of Christ’s vision to love our neighbours as ourselves.
