The Annual General Meeting The Annual General Meeting of is the supreme decision making body of CHAL. Delegates of the AGM are nominees and representatives of the member churches and also professionals with and in-depth understanding and role in health service provision. The AGM makes policy decisions that direct and guide CHAL into the subsequent year.
The Board of CHAL The Board of CHAL is the executive arm of the Association and provides strategic and policy guidance in the operations of CHAL. Members appoint representatives to the Board; in proportion to the number of GOL accredited facilities, and operating under the auspices of CHAL. The board consists of 20 members, 17 of which are voting members from member churches while 3 of them are ex-officio members from GOL.
The Executive committee The Executive Committee of the Board is composed of the five members - Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson, Treasurer, Secretary and Vice-Secretary. ECXO meets more frequently than the Board to provide strategic leadership and oversight on the work of CHAL.
The Secretariat The Secretariat is the administrative and coordinating mechanism of the Association and is led by the Executive Director, Deputy Executive Director and program heads in the areas of primary healthcare, finance, human resources and administration, Nurses Training Institutions and technical office
